Palatial Wins at the 2025 Nebius Robotics and Physical AI Awards
On December 9, Palatial took third place in the Data Engines, Synthetic Data and Simulation category at the 2025 Nebius Robotics and Physical AI Awards.
Nebius (NASDAQ: NBIS) hosted the awards at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View. More than 250 companies applied from over 60 countries, and 55 finalists gave live demos to judges from Nebius, NVIDIA, OpenAI, Physical Intelligence, ABB, Khosla Ventures, Accel, Radical Ventures, Next47, and Shanda Grab Ventures.
Sixteen startups received a combined $1.5 million in Nebius AI Cloud compute and inference credits, accelerated by NVIDIA AI infrastructure. NVIDIA Robotics also publicly congratulated the winners.
Simulation needs content
Robots learn in simulation before they touch the real world. The quality of that training depends on the objects inside the simulator: accurate collision geometry, physical properties, and working joints, validated well enough to trust.
This content layer is still built mostly by hand. It sits in the middle of the robot-learning data pyramid, between the models and the real-world data, and it limits how quickly teams can create new environments.
Nebius carved out a dedicated category for this layer, and it is exactly the layer Palatial automates. Our real-to-sim pipeline turns text, images, and CAD into simulation-ready assets with collisions, physics, and articulation, then verifies them before they reach a customer. The judges recognized that automating this layer is what unlocks scale for every robotics team training downstream.
$50,000 goes back into the pipeline
As a category winner, Palatial received $50,000 in Nebius AI Cloud compute and inference credits, plus a managed account on Nebius AI Cloud.
We already run GPU generation workloads on Nebius. These credits go directly into generating more simulation-ready assets and running the validation required for each one.
The award also puts Palatial alongside Parallel Domain, Duality AI, and Buildroid AI in our category. The Pioneer Awards went to Physical Intelligence, Agility Robotics, Foxglove, and DYNA Robotics.
